![]() The free game offer is only available for 48 hours, ending at 1:59PM GMT on Saturday, December 14. It's not like the games were bank-breaking expenses before-GoG was offering them for $10 each, and they're currently $5 on Steam-but with a price of $0 and no DRM in the GoG offering, there's really no excuse to not revisit these classics (and Fallout Tactics) or try them out for the first time if you've just acquired your first PC last week or something. Yes, GoG.com is kicking off its annual winter sale by giving away free copies of Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics. That said, we couldn't resist telling you about a literally unbeatable deal on some of the best computer RPGs of the '90s (and Fallout: Tactics, too). There are just too many great price reductions happening all the time, and there are plenty of sites that track that kind of thing in much more detail than we could. We don't normally highlight random game sales here on Ars Technica, outside of a few mentions in our weekly DealMaster posts.
